“The purpose of God's grace in salvation is to restore us to our sole and original destiny which Paul states in: COL 1:27 which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. So in actual fact, something much more radical has taken place than a convert is often either taught or realizes; and the failure to realize the true meaning of God's dealings with us results in a weak birth or stunted growth.”

Norman Grubb in his book: The Deep Things of God

Prayer Ministry

"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."  1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18

9:00 a.m. Sunday mornings - an informal prayer meeting combined with scripture reading and discussion as time allows (concludes when Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m.)

From Paul E. Bilheimer's book, Destined for the Throne, page 17:  "Prayer is not begging God to do something that He is loath to do. It is not overcoming reluctance in God. It is enforcing Christ's victory over Satan. It is implementing upon earth Heaven’s decisions concerning the affairs of men. Calvary legally destroyed Satan and canceled all of his claims. God placed the enforcement of Calvary's victory in the hands of the Church (Matthew 18:18 and Luke 10:17-19). He has given to her "power of attorney," or made her His deputy." But this delegated authority is wholly inoperative apart from the prayers of a believing Church. Prayer, therefore, is where the action is. Any church without a well-organized and systematic prayer program is simply operating a religious treadmill."
